One dead after Echols Co. wreck

ECHOLS CO., GA (WALB) -

A passenger involved in the fatal Echols Co. wreck last weekend has passed. 

According to the medical examiner, 35-year-old Reymundo Ramos Chilel was pronounced deceased at 1 p.m. on November 20 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. 25-year-old Filadelfo Martin Perez is in a steadily improving condition at South Georgia Medical Center. 40-year-old Alberto Hernandez is still in critical condition at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

Other passengers, 23-year-old Mario Martin Perez, 4-year-old Pedro Lopez, and 6-year-old Justin Lopez have all been discharged from Shands Hospital. The other driver, 35-year-old Clifford Hadley, was discharged from South Georgia Medical Center.

The investigation was turned over to the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team. Charges are pending upon concluding the investigation.
