Victims named in Coffee Co. double homicide

COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Officials say that two people are dead in a homicide investigation in the Meadow Brook Lane area of Coffee County.

33- year-old Meghan Bowen and 39-year-old James Harden were found dead Thursday.

Coffee county deputies arrived at 38 Meadowbrook Lane, and found the two dead inside the house, and requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist. They are not sure what time the homicides happened.

One neighbor said the the victims just recently moved into the house a couple of months ago.  

Agents said they are interviewing, and following up on leads, and the scene is still being processed.
