ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Parts of Georgia can expect strong storms as a line of heavy rain moves into the state.
According to the National Weather Service, a severe threat is ongoing and will continue across southeast Alabama and western Florida through the afternoon.
The storms will then affect parts of South Georgia and eastern Florida.
Experts warn that damage will be possible with these stronger thunderstorms.
A tornado watch was in effect for much of southwest Georgia until 9 p.m. eastern time.
