LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Hundreds of people showed up Saturday to support families who have dealt or are dealing with domestic abuse.
The fundraiser, called Pearls and Possibilities, was hosted by The Liberty House at the Oakland Library in Lee county.
It's a non-profit organization serving people in Southwest Georgia.
Liberty House Executive Director Silke Deeley said, "We hope to raise $25,000 this year so that we can have match money so that I can fight for more grants because we operate fully on grants."
They auctioned off items and sold food to raise money to support those impacted by domestic abuse.
