The Turner County Sheriff's office says they are seeing a rise in IRS call scams.
Many people recognize the calls are scams and get the number from their caller ID.
The question is where can they pass that information to in order to stop these scammers.
"If they get a call they can either hang up on them or if they choose to talk to them just make sure they don't give them any information," said Turner County Sheriff Andy Hester.
Sheriff Hester also says you can also report scam calls to the U.S. Treasury Department's website.
