The city of Fitzgerald, Georgia is celebrating a legacy of unity and diversity at the Harmony Jubilee at Paulk Park Campground through this weekend. One of the highlights of the festival is hot air balloon rides available to the public.
You can see Fitzgerald and the surrounding areas from high above the ground, with tethered and untethered balloon rides, weather permitting.
Friday features a private Wine & Cheese Tasting and Balloon Glow at Turkey Creek in Fitzgerald.
On Saturday, the Artisan Market, showcasing quality handmade and homemade goods and wares crafted by local artists.
The Kid Zone will include a bouncy house and slide, coloring and hot air balloon photo-op station, pet fashion show, and dancing, guaranteeing you'll bring home one tired kid.
There will be musical entertainment throughout the day.
The Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Library will be providing a Curious George Meet & Greet and story times about every hour from 10am-2pm. There will be a treat for history buffs with a Civil War Encampment all day.
