High school students in Colquitt county are making a commitment to drive safely.
This is the second year the high school has participated in State Farm's nationwide safe driving campaign called Celebrate My Drive.
Students submitted a short video and went on social media to show their pledge to keep two eyes on the road and two hands on the wheel at all times.
This campaign means more to these students than the $100,000 grand prize, after experiencing several high school tragedies involving car crashes.
Colquitt County High School teacher Ben Pitchford said, "Facts show that teenagers die in car crashes at a high rate. The idea is to show what you should do to be a safe driver, rather than to tell teen drivers what you shouldn't do."
Now the school is asking for your votes to help them make it to the top.
You have until Friday to vote. You can go to www.CelebrateMyDrive.com, search for the Colquitt County High School, and place your vote.
