Jury deliberates after man suffered brain damage

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A Dougherty County jury started deliberations Wednesday afternoon, in the trial of an Albany man charged with forcing a man out of a moving car with a knife.

Prosecutors say in March 2012, Kelvin McCoy and his girlfriend Tracey Styles were arguing in a car, with Styles driving.

Prosecutors say Alonzo Hammond tried to intervene and McCoy pulled a knife, forcing Hammond to jump out.

Hammond suffered a brain injury.
