ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man is sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to being part of an armed robbery that ended with one of the robbers being shot.
Monday morning Lenard Glover pleaded guilty to drug and weapons charges and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
He agreed to testify against his accused accomplices.
Prosecutors say on February 8, 2014, Glover and six other men used a shotgun to rob four people in an apartment in the 2200 block of Gillionville Road.
One of the victims grabbed the gun and shot one of the robbers. Jury selection for the trial of the other defendants started this afternoon.
