ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A group that's been running to help families of wounded and fallen Special Operation forces came through Albany Sunday. Operation One Voice was honored at American Legion Post 30.

The group works to run more than 500 miles from Atlanta to Tampa in order to raise money for one of the first Alpha teams to fight in Afghanistan.

They run every day, regardless of what mother nature throws at them.

"We run it's around the clock 24 hours a day in whatever weather primarily because all of the police officers and fighters, we understand our soldiers are at war they're out in the elements," said founder Bill Stevens.
