ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Museum hosted its third annual Touch a Truck event.

Young children got a chance to sit behind the wheel of big trucks.

They were able to climb aboard fire trucks, school buses, and big rigs.

They learned how these large pieces of equipment keep the community running.

"We're just happy to have everybody from the community come out and enjoy this event and enjoy the amazing space at the museum," said event organizer Katie Gatewood. "We've got a great gem here in Albany and people might not even know about it."

This event will benefit the Albany Museum of Art's children's area and programs.
