ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Central Monitoring kicked off its 10th annual 'One Warm Coat Drive' on November 2nd to help people in need prepare for winter.
The company is asking people to donate new or gently-used coats of all sizes. Collection boxes are located at all of the 11 fire stations and at various schools and churches.
Over the past 10 years the drive has helped to give out more than 13,000 coats.
"... We need coats for children because they outgrow their coats every year. So if your child has a coat that they've outgrown, please, please, donate it for those children who don't have coats," says Judy Randle, Central Monitoring President.
They will be collecting coats through January 18th.
