Pelham schools want more interaction from parents

PELHAM, GA (WALB) - Pelham School officials are encouraging parents to stay involved with their children's education.

November is Parent Engagement Month and they've got a lot activities going on, including a statewide contest.

Parents can submit a two minute video highlighting how they play a role in their kid's lives.

"We want to get our parents involved," said Parent Involvement Coordinator Cindy Smith. "Of course the date says that if our parents are involved with our kids in their schooling they are going to do better and be successful."
