TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

Officer Dawn Tillman directs traffic at Tift County High School.

This morning, she helped a mother change a flat tire.

A witness took photos and posted them to Facebook where they're getting a lot of positive comments.

Tillman is surprised she's getting so much attention.

"I pulled in behind her as I was pulling into the school," recalled Tillman. "The student got out and ran to my car and said she blew her tire. And I told him to go on to class so he wouldn't be late and that I would change it for him."

Tillman says it's not the first time she helped someone in need, and it won't be the last.
