Home invasion suspect arrested in Panama City


After an arrest in Florida, the Albany Police Department’s Gang Unit is still trying to find two men connected to a home invasion on October 14. Five men forced their way into the home of Kevin Thomas, and physically assaulted him with handguns, hands, fists, and feet.

Kenyatta Santaka Smith was apprehended without incident in Panama City Thursday night by Panama City Police at a hotel. Smith will remain in Panama City until police interviews are completed.

Altravious Thomas, 35, was arrested Wednesday in the 300 block of Carriage Lane, and is behind bars for this crime. 

Otis Thomas, 54, was arrested on the day of the incident.

APD is looking for Dontravius Donquez Gibson was born in September of 1987. Gibson stand 6’ 05’’, and weighs 210 lbs.  Charles Bradwell III who is 5'11, weighs 210 lbs and was born in November of 1979.

These men will be charged with Aggravated Assault, and Burglary in the first degree.
