DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -

The Douglas Police Department is searching for several people in connection with a truck and cargo trailer theft.

According to officials the truck and trailer were taken from the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express on October 24th.

Police say that a dark blue 2002 Ford F-250 that had a silver stripe at the bottom and a silver 20 foot Diamond Cargo trailer were taken.

The truck and trailer are also reported as being used in a later theft that involved the taking of multiple zero turn lawnmowers.

The Douglas Police say that anyone with any information that could assist in identifying the individuals pictured is asked to contact the Douglas Police Department at (912) 384-2222 or the Tips Line at (912) 260-3600.
