A man says he snapped a photo of what appears to be a funnel cloud near Worth County less than an hour after tornado warnings expired in several South Georgia counties.
Jamie Beckwith said he snapped the photo outside of his work as dark clouds formed near the CVS Pharmacy in Sylvester.
It was about 2:50 p.m. at the time, he said.
Emergency officials said no damage was reported in the area. Other surrounding counties saw damage from high winds the day before.
Monday's tornado warnings came after the National Weather Service in Tallahassee said tornadoes briefly touched down in Grady and Colquitt County Sunday.
Police in Doerun also reported a brief tornado touchdown on Sunday.
