COLQUITT, GA (WALB) - Despite lots of other activities going on this weekend, lots of people came out to see Easton Corbin perform in Colquitt.
"We had a lot of things we Halloween, very important football games, and a little threat of bad weather but we were very pleased with the turn out," Mike Newberry said.
The Colquitt Miller Arts council is still looking at the numbers, but say thousands of people came out for their benefit concert.
Thanks to the help of local law enforcement and other community groups, they're confident they can pull something like this off again.
"It gave us, gave us proof here that we can come together as a community and make this happen," Mike Newberry said.
The concert will help pay for recent renovations to Cotton Hall.
"We just had a major restoration that involved the roof," Mike Newberry said.
And they believe they raised enough money to pay for all the renovations.
