ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Front street was blocked off for the Fall Festival downtown. It was a huge street party hosted by the Gethsemane Worship Center along with Albany Police and the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office.
Families went from table to table for candy. Organizers said it's just a fun way to bring the community together.
"As you can see we have people of all backgrounds here enjoying," said Bishop Frederick Williams. "We have music, we have bounce houses, its to bring an awareness to our community which is a great place to stay, and just to get the community working together."
As much as 3,000 people came downtown for the festivities.
