ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A truck nearly slammed into an Albany business Friday afternoon.
Peggy Hall says Albany police called her after the truck hit a light pole outside Hall's Landscaping on Baldwin Drive around 2:00. It hopped the curb and stopped just before crashing into Hall's building.
She says today is the anniversary of her brother-in-law's death, and she believes he was keeping them safe.
"Just that a guardian angel was watching over us today. We weren't here and the truck didn't come through the building. So we're just very blessed and thankful for that," Hall said.
Fortunately, no one was hurt. We're waiting to learn more details about that driver from Albany Police.
