Two Albany teens were indicted for robbing at gunpoint two convenience stores in July, firing a shot during one of those robberies.
17 year old Ryshun Jackson and 15 year old Michael Alexander were indicted on 19 counts, including aggravated assault and armed robbery. Alexander's picture was not released because of his age.
Prosecutors say July 26th the teens robbed the Woodall's convenience store on North Jefferson. One went in, wearing a mask and pointing a gun. A shot was fired in the ceiling during the robbery.
The next night prosecutors say the teens robbed the Flash Foods at gunpoint.
The D.A. says the teens will be charged as adults, and even at their age face possible life sentences.
"That's even for juveniles who are treated as adults. So without even shots being fired this potential sentence is life in prison," said D. A. Greg Edwards.
No date has been set for the teen's trial yet.
