Circus returns to Valdosta

Chris Connors Chris Connors
VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Monday afternoon, the circus was set to get underway in Valdosta.

The Cole Bros. Circus spent most of the day Monday setting up at the Five Points shopping center for Monday night's 7:30 show.

This is the circus's 14th year in Valdosta. Tickets are $23, but this year the circus created a unique way to let kids get in for free.

"Draw a picture of an elephant and write 'free ticket'. Color it up, make it pretty, and when your parents bring you to the circus you present that as a free kids coupon," explained Ringmaster Chris Connors.

The circus will have two more shows on Tuesday, at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

You can buy tickets on site or online by clicking here.
