A community event in Putney honored former Dougherty County Commissioner Jack Stone.
Putney Fun Day" is a time for neighbors to get together, and get to know each other.
It's put on by the neighborhood watch group.
They have lots of fun activities including bingo for the seniors, and horse shoes for the kids, plus a movie and free food.
“He was a leader for our community for a long time, so we felt that we needed to pay tribute to Mr. Stone," Willie Williams.
Stone died in September. He served for nearly 30 years on County Commission.
