ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany-Dougherty Beautiful hosted its River Alive clean up. Lots of volunteers came out in the morning to pick up trash. They said over the years, they've seen a difference along the water.

"Since we've been doing this every year I've seen a little bit of a reduction with the garbage that we pick up. So I'd like to think that maybe we've gotten caught up with it," said John Holman.

Folks with the Flint River Keeper also came out to help with the clean up.
