TURNER CO., GA (WALB) -

A very special moment for two twin girls was the highlight of a Turner County homecoming game Friday.

During halftime, the homecoming court was announced. To Guy Mathis' surprise, his special needs daughters Jessica and Jordan were both crowned homecoming queen that night. He thought it was a wonderful gesture and was almost speechless.

"Well considering all that they have been through, it kind of leaves me speechless, when they were born they weren't supposed to live, this is a pretty big deal for me," said Guy Mathis.

His two daughters were also emotional. Mathis is a former teacher in Turner County.
