MITCHELL CO., GA (WALB) -

Organizers prepare for a benefit honoring a South Georgia man killed by a drunk driver.

Organizers were busy setting up for the 2015 Cleve's Quails. The memorial quail hunt and fundraiser will be at Covey Rise Plantation. It honors 22-year-old Cleve Bostick who was killed when he was run over by a drunk driver in 2006 in Mexico Beach, Florida.
All funds will benefit the Cleve Bostick Memorial Foundation.

"This is just a way that we are able to continue his legacy of loving and passing forward because he always believed in paying it forward, doing kind things for other people,” said Jenny Bostick, Mother.

"It's a great cause, a lot of the schools around here have benefited from the money that's been given,” said Robin Singletary, Owner of Covey Rise Plantation.

The money will help fund youth programs and activities in Southwest Georgia. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by calling 229-221-1816.  The dinner and silent auction starts at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24.
