WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - A South Georgia Humane Society holds a murder mystery dinner to raise money for their shelter.
The Best Friends Humane Society in Worth County hosted a murder mystery dinner and play at Rocking DK Stables and Outfitters. It's called Polter-Heist. Cast members were made up of supporters of the humane society.
"It takes money, to care for the animals that we've got and we have anywhere from 20 to 40 animals at any given time and it takes feed, it takes cleaning supplies, it takes electricity, it takes gasoline," said Shelly McPhaul, Best Friends Humane Society, President. "All those things cost money just like running a house."
They also held a silent auction. This is the second year for the event.
