Albany man shot during early morning attack

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A man was shot in the 1200 block of Kingstown Ct. Thursday around 1 a.m..

According to the Albany Police Department Marcus Crouch was lying in bed when he heard a knock at the front door. Crouch stated that when he went to see who was there, the person kicked the door in and began shooting at him.

Crouch said he ran to the bedroom and told Dishi Hall to call 911 and that he had been shot.

According to Crouch it was too dark inside the apartment to see the person who forced their way inside.

Crouch was transported by paramedic to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and is currently in fair condition.

Hall told police that she believes whoever attacked Crouch also broke in to her vehicle and stole her Panasonic Car Radio.
