City extends drive for South Carolina Flood Victims

There's still time to drop off donations on Pine Avenue for South Carolina flood victims.

The city has been collecting donations for two weeks now, and has extended their drive until Saturday at noon.

City Manager Sharon Subadan says they only have two thirds of the truck filled, and would like to have a full load to take to our neighbors.

“I think its important for us to pay it back and pay it forward, when you've been on the receiving end of help and experienced a tragedy, I think it makes us a lot more empathetic, and there recovery will be going on for a long time,” says City Manager Sharon Subadan.

They need bleach, diapers, and Clorox wipes. You can drive up and volunteers will help you unload. The trailer will be moved to the mall on Saturday.
