Dougherty Co. Police arrest teen in home invasion robbery

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dougherty County Police arrest an Albany teen, charging him with a July home invasion robbery, where the homeowner suffered cuts and bruises.

18 year old Donovan McCall is charged with robbery by force and burglary.  Investigators say he stole 700 one dollar bills, a phone, and beer during a home invasion 

July 2nd at 67 year old Leslie King's home on Staton Drive July 2nd.  King told police when he woke up two people punched him and pushed him down inside his home.

Police say five years ago McCall was also charged with burglarizing King's home.  More arrests are expected.

Donovan McCall was found in a Southeast Georgia county jail, charged with entering autos.  He has been brought back to Dougherty County, and is being held in the jail without bond.

    Students in Dougherty County will have their state testing a bit later this year.  After seeing how many days students missed in January, the state is allowing them to take the test one week later.  Students will take their Georgia Milestones the week of April 24th.
