ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Saint Teresa Catholic Church collected donations during all four of their services on Sunday. All of the Catholic churches in Georgia have taken part in a state-wide effort to aid South Carolina flood victims.
"We collect the money give it to them and they have boots on the ground sort of speak," said deacon Jay Dallas. "That are like I said professionals and they go everywhere in the world so they'll apply it where it's needed the most."
Church leaders said they're also praying for the victims and the hope for a quick rebuild.
