ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Many outdoor vendors filled the sidewalks near Albany State for homecoming.
According to the city, about ten businesses applied for a temporary business license. Some vendors did not have to apply if the business residence was in the area.
Code enforcement officers made sure check for vendors who wanted to set up shop but did have a license in to get one.
"Because we have the officers out checking those who are currently out there," said Director Nathaniel Norman. "They'll come across someone who don't have a permit and they'll be directed down here to get one."
Code enforcement is still coming around to verify vendors' temporary business licenses.
