ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Friday was the last day to apply for a temporary business license for this weekend's Albany State homecoming activities.
The city's treasury division received several last minute applications for independent vendors.
Some outdoor vendors were sent to the office by code enforcement.
The director and Marshall of the treasurer's division said that there may be less vendors this year.
"Now they may be minimized a little bit because the Dollar General over there and the construction transpiring near the old Chinese restaurant. Because those two spots were ones that had a lot of occupancy for vendors," said Director Nathaniel Norman.
There will be more vendors on the street, because most businesses around the area are already permitted to sell in the area.
