LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Lee County leaders may take a vote soon to be more business-friendly.
Commissioners say the rate businesses pay for garbage pickup services is twice as much as the residential rate.
Chairman Rick Muggridge believes that's unfair.
"My point of view is that we're charging commercial customers twice as much as we are residential customers," said Rick Muggridge, Lee County Chairman. "It cost us the same thing, my opinion is that they oughta pay the same thing."
Commissioners are scheduled to take a vote at their next meeting in two weeks.
