An Albany mom ends up in hand cuffs after her home catches fire on Leonard Avenue.
Ruecille Sharper was arrested for wreck less conduct after leaving her son home alone while she went to the store.
During that time the home caught fire, and fire officials believe the 10-year-old boy was playing with matches in the bedroom.
A police officer in the area just happen to see heavy smoke coming from the house.
Sharper was transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
"We had reports that there was a child here when we got here we made contact with the neighbors they had the child. So we went in did a secondary search of the house found nobody proceeded to put the fire out," Battalion Chief Keith Ambrose said.
The family is displaced from their home. The red cross is assisting the family.
