Student ambassadors at Worth County Middle School packed snacks for people in need.
"Helping people pack up stuff and doing this with my friends is really fun," said student ambassador Zalen Timmons.
Worth County Middle School's snack bag program currently gives out eight snack bags, to students who need the food over the weekend.
"We need these foods, because as I before said, students don't have enough to eat," said parent involvement coordinator Jackie Johnson. "The less they have to worry about a full stomach the better they'll do academically. We're always looking for donations all they have to do is give us a call."
The number of students receiving the bags will increase if needed.
Johnson said that the closer to the holidays we get, the more donations the school will need for the snack bag program.
