RACE INFO: Buddy Check 10k

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Entrants who have already registered for Saturday's Buddy Check 10k race at Chehaw can pick up their race packets Friday at WALB from Noon until 5 p.m.

Entrants can also pick them up ahead of the race on Saturday morning before 9 a.m.

The Kids 1-mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:30 a.m.

The Buddy Check 10k Trail Run begins at 10 a.m.

Entry fee is $35. It increases to $40 for registrations submitted on Race Day.

Kids 1-mil Fun Run awards

All participants under the age of 14 will receive a medal. Awards will be presented to the top male and female winners under the age of 14.

10k Trail Run awards

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, male and female masters, and the top 3 males and females in the following age divisions: Under 14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

Awards will follow completion of the race. No awards will be mailed.

Restrictions

For the safety of all participants, no pets, strollers, rollerblades, skates, skateboards, bikes, or scooters allowed on the race course. This is a true trail run on a single track trail. All runners should expect tree roots, uneven terrain, and a great time in nature! Drinks and snacks will be available after the race.
