A national campaign targeting distracted driving made a stop in Albany today. The AT&T "It can Wait" campaign visited Darton College.

Students got a chance to go through a virtual simulator that highlights the dangers of even a quick glance at your phone. Hundreds of students stopped by the student center, and some say the simulator was life-changing.

"Even though I'm not much a texter while driving, this simulator shows what would really happen if it were me behind that wheel," said student Joh n Okon.

"The reactions have been super positive. We've had people that within three minutes, the simulator has changed their overall thoughts on distracted driving," campaign spokesman AT&T CJ  Johnson.

Mayor Dorothy Hubbard was among the many participants. Many students signed a pledge to quit texting and driving.
