South Georgia boy scouts hold annual dinner

The South Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America held their 23rd annual Wild Game Dinner at Potters Community Center in Dougherty County.
Proceeds will help support two scout camps that help train more than 5000 boys a year in South Georgia.

"We'd like to thank this community for supporting us,” said Matt Hart, Scout Executive of the South Georgia Council for Boy Scouts of America. “Everything here tonight, all of our silent auction and live auction events are all donated. It really helps return a lot of investment back to the kids here in South Georgia.”

Tonight's live auction had 20 items including hiking and vacation packages.
The Silent Auction included $10,000 worth of items.
