Lee County woman designs scarves for Breast Cancer Survivors

LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

A Lee County woman is using her sewing talents to support breast cancer survivors.
Kawambee Dorsey owns “Lady Like Lap Scarves.”
She taught herself how to sew two years ago.
She says she's glad she can use her God-given talents to make these pink scarves and donate them to survivors.

“Just to know that the time was taken to actually make it with my hands and being inspired by listening to what God was leading me to do and being able to present it to them and seeing the smile on their face is priceless,” said Kawambee Dorsey, Designer. “It's overwhelming, it's rewarding."

Dorsey will present scarves to survivors at the 44 shades of Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar next week.
