CRISP CO., GA (WALB) -

The halftime homecoming ceremony at Crisp County High School was pretty awesome.

Senior Raven Dyer was crowned Homecoming Queen.
Raven has Down Syndrome.
She was nominated and elected by her peers after she mentioned she'd like to be homecoming Queen.
Her teacher says everyone loves Raven.

"I am the Queen, Raven Dyer,” said Raven Dyer, Crisp County High School Homecoming Queen.

“She is a treat and a wonderful good-hearted person and she is loved by the whole entire school,” said Dyer’s Homeroom Teacher. “It's a privilege to teach her."

Dyer even blew us a kiss after her win.
Congratulations Raven.
