ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Newly elected Dougherty County Commissioner Anthony Jones is bringing county government to the people in his district.
Jones and School Board member Dean Phinazee are hosting a health fair and public safety event this Saturday.
Representatives from a number of county and city agencies will be available to answer any questions or bring out any concerns people may have.
"People may have questions for the county commission. They may have questions for the board members. That is what we are doing," Jones said.
The District Six Community Health Fair will take place at the intersection of Yorktown Avenue and Lexington Drive in East Albany starting at ten o'clock Saturday morning.
