ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A 19 year old man will go to prison in the death of an Albany woman, but not for killing her.

On August 28, a jury returned a verdict of not guilty in the trial of Dorian "Tye" Revills, charged with shooting and killing "Kiki" Williams last year.

However, Revills was sentenced to five years in prison under first offender status for possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The jury acquitted Revills of murder and armed robbery.

On February 27th, 2014, 31 year old "Kiki" Williams was shot inside her Stuart Avenue apartment during an armed robbery. She later died outside in a courtyard.

Emory Jones was also arrested in that case, and made a deal to testify for the state.
