"Across the Tracks" makes its debut in Arlington

ARLINGTON, GA (WALB) -

Moviegoers got a chance to enjoy the debut of a new film produced in Albany and Arlington. The movie, directed by Michael Cook, is called "Across the Tracks". 

Crew members and actors came out to see the movie. Cook said they'd gotten some good feedback.

"It's been fantastic, this is our second screening of the day, there are a lot of people come out," said Cook. "We already showed one at three, people loved it, not a dry eye in the place, we got some great reviews."

The film follows the life of two African American women growing up in the late 60s and the challenges they face.
