ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

There's a new place in Albany where families can go for diagnosis and therapy for autism.

Journey Counseling and Psychological Services will offer counseling to people of all ages dealing with all sorts of issues. The counselors say the office is the only one in the area licensed to use the Autism diagnostic observation schedule.

"Which really looks at all of the different areas for autism to help clarify and make a really good diagnosis, said one of the partners, Diane Cerjan, Psy.D. "So that we're not just being kind of iffy about things, we have something to go by. A standardized evaluation method."

The office is located at 2339 Lake Park Drive.
