Officers of the Douglas – Coffee Drug Unit, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia State Patrol served a search warrant at the home of Aaron Anderson on Wednesday.
Detectives seized marijuana, scales, and a .22 caliber rifle, equipped with a flash suppressor and an extended magazine. Anderson, 20, of Douglas was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The day before, Douglas – Coffee Heat Unit officers stopped Dennis Lytle's car on GA HWY 135 at Bethel Road in Douglas.
During the traffic stop, officers discovered methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Lytle, 42, of Douglas, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
