Len Kiese

was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland but loves the weather and hospitality of his new home in South Georgia.

It was while attending Mergenthaler Vo-Tech High School in Baltimore that Len realized that he wanted to seriously pursue a career in broadcast journalism. After graduation, Len attended Towson University in Baltimore, MD and graduated with a B. S. in Electronic Media and Film and a track in television.

While in college, Len interned at Fox 45 News in Baltimore. He was also a reporter and fill-in anchor for WMJF-TV 16 News, the college news station.

Len joined the WALB News 10 team in January of 2005 and is the weekend anchor and a nightside reporter.

In his spare time he loves attending church, reading, listening to music and having fun with friends.

Len loves the life of a reporter. No other job lets you leave the office everyday and encounter new people and places.

He believes that no story is small and at the center of each one is a person.  It's his goal to tell those stories each day.
