LEE CO., GA (WALB) - A lee county baseball league for kids with special needs is expanding.
Tonight, Lee County Commissioners approved an agreement with the Challenger League for a kickball tournament at the County's Recreational Park.
County officials say they're excited to support it.
"It's a nice thing for them to be able to get out and have activities and we're proud to allow them to do that at minimal cost and have an activity for them to do," said Ron Rabun, Lee County Manager.
If you'd like to be a "Buddy" for the tournament you can register at the Elks Lodge in Albany Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The first game is October 24th.
