LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Lee County leaders say they need more information before deciding whether to raise EMS fees.
At their last meeting two weeks ago, commissioners asked for more information on a proposal to implement steep increases.
Tonight, they said they're still not ready to vote.
They want to see how the county is currently doing on collecting the fees before making any changes.
"We're also going to ask our biller to come and have him do a presentation on our current results," said Rick Muggridge, Chairman. "What he expects our trends will be, what that will relate too in real money for the taxpayers."
Commissioners hope to hear that presentation at their next meeting in October.
