Dougherty County Police Detectives said they began receiving tips soon after an image taken from an ATM camera was shown on WALB.

We published the picture on September 10, and citizens soon identified the suspect as 28 year old Shantae Necole Clay, AKA "Tank."

Detectives say that they now have four felony warrants out for Clay, and are actively looking for her.

They say she got hold of an ATM card from a man's car on September second, and then deposited bad checks into the victim's account.

They say she then went to an ATM with the card, and drew out over $3,000, before the bank knew the checks were phony.

"That ATM was used to deposit checks into his account, counterfeit checks. And then a short time later that same ATM card was used to withdraw money out of his account," said Lt. Chad Kirkpatrick Dougherty Co. Police.

This tactic, known as "card cracking," is becoming more popular, they said.

If you have any information on "Tank," please call CrimeSTOPPERS at 436-TIPS, or DCP at 430-6600.
